The Heartland horses are an integral part of our campers' experience at Heartland and we need your help to keep it that way. During Neigh Days, our goal is to raise a total of $6,000 to add two new horses to the herd, spruce up our pastures and fences, and make some much needed upgrades to our equipment.

Our development work includes a one-year plan (the Annual Fund) that allows us to do remarkable things to impact the lives of our campers and guests. The Annual Fund is part of our growth plan that is included in our comprehensive Master Plan.
THE IMPACT
1.5 Million donated over five years
12,500 campers and 300 college-age staff members have engaged in faith immersion experiences and built a faith-based community.
550 guest groups served, representing 15,000 people attending retreats to rest and renew in order to go back and serve in the world.
Enhanced guest experiences and increased capacity for the future: this includes facility enhancements and improved hospitality to continue God's ministry at Heartland Center.
Developed relationships with congregations of all types, Christian Schools, families, and civic groups. New partnerships formed with Battle Within and Camp Encourage to expand our outreach and community engagement.

GROWTH PLAN
Step One: Annual Giving
These funds provide the crucial gap between the actual cost of camp and what our overnight campers pay to attend camp. Every camper is supported by at least 50% of the actual price, with additional funding as needed. We provide additional funds through the annual fund and events. We have a variety of events throughout the year that support the annual fund. The Annual Fund is approximately 20% of our yearly budget.
