Heartland Center ActivitiesHeartland Center Challenge AdventuresHeartland Center has three Challenge Adventure options for your group. Each program is custom designed and will tailor the experience to the age, development, and/or goals of your participants. Seasonal Group ActivitiesInformation for all of our Heartland Activities are described in more detail within the links to the left. A printable version of this information is available in our Activities Participant Information Sheet. Please use this tool when deciding which activity will best complement your program. Please share the information for your chosen activities with all group members. We strive to provide a safe and enriching environment, so it is essential that all group members come prepared as described. NOTE: All participants need to complete a Release of Liability Form to participate in any Heartland Challenge Adventure (GPS, The Edge Team Challenge Course,The Summit High Ropes Challenge Course - Horse Trail Rides, and Swimming Pool). Please feel free to download this to fill it out before arriving for your Challenge Adventure. If you have any questions or concerns about your experience do not hesitate to contact us. Activities may be subject to weather and time constraints. Additional (Free) Activities at Heartland CenterFrisbee Golf Heartland Center has an 18 hole Frisbee Golf course. The first tee is at the front entrance to the Dining Hall. Course Maps are located outside the entrance to the DIning Hall. NOTE: Our map only includes the front 9 holes. A new map with the back 9 is coming soon. Labyrinth Our labyrinth is a place for spiritual reflection and prayer. We invite individuals or groups to use the labyrinth as part of your program at Heartland Center.cilitator Prayer Trail. Adjacent to the Labyrinth is an 8 station Prayer Trail. Each station includes a portion of the Presbyterian Church (USA) symbol and a scriptural meditation. Prayer Trail Map Prayer Trail Meditations Heartland Center Guests are welcome to use any of these activities. We do not schedule them, so be conscious of other groups or individuals who may be using them. VIsitors are welcome. Please sign in at the Nunemaker Center office. |
